I’ve wanted to find and take pictures in the Distillery District for a little while so I headed out there last night while I was near by.  I didn’t get that many shots before it started raining, but the pictures below are what I did get and I enjoyed the results.  Perhaps I’ll go back and add to the collection some time.

I get a few minutes each week down by the lake while Jeneah is having her guitar lessons.  There’s all sorts of people that I haven’t had the courage to take pictures of, but this handsome fella will do for now.  Two night shots of the colourful sky.

I went out looking for something today.  I found it, but couldn’t get close enough to get a good shot.  So, it’ll have to be another day.  Meanwhile, closer to home, I was playing about with some lengthy open shutter night shots and an odd-looking tree.  My favourite aspect of the last pic was a happy accident.  The red glow on the branches of the tree were caused by a car passing by.  I’ll let them off.
